Diamond Driller Apprenticeship
Drill Masters Ltd are pleased to confirm that our Diamond Driller, Blaine Burgess, has completed his first year of the NVQ level II in Diamond Drilling and Concrete Cutting.
The two year apprenticeship course run by the DSA (Drilling and Sawing Association) provides delegates with full training in all aspects of diamond drilling and concrete cutting from Health and Safety to diamond coring to ring sawing and track sawing.
Blaine who has been a diamond driller with Drill Masters for over 2 years commented ‘I joined Drill Masters from a brick laying background and they have taught me how to become a diamond driller. The DSA course has strengthened my knowledge and understanding and I enjoy all aspects of my job. When I started I didn’t know much about diamond drilling but now I know how to cut concrete.’ Blaine is the sixth person Drill Masters have trained to NVQ level II in Diamond drilling and concrete cutting as they develop and grow their workforce.
