Concrete repairs – Is the repairing of cracks in concrete. All concrete, once placed will contract during the curing process. Initially this causes small surface cracks but when set the concrete will expand or contract slightly with ambient temperature. Concrete repairs are utilised to repair these cracks before the weather can penetrate them and cause significantly larger cracks.
The cracks are cleaned and all loose debris is removed to provide a clean dust free surface. Specialist repair mortars are used to infill the cracks. These mortars are a stronger version of concrete to provide an impregnable layer where the cracks was.
